I know. I try to tell Liam the bass player, and band leader that, but he likes the vocals way up there. I want less vocals and more everything else. But most of all I want this thing done, so I'm not trying to get my way anymore, just trying to get it finished

its good that the vocals are prevalent. but the music is so dynamic and has so many different sections that I really think you should bring them up some.
smack him down.

+1 or you'll look back on it one day after not hearing it for a while and smack yourself for making the vocals the spotlight of the song. I almost can't concentrate on the music as much because I'm too busy listening to the singer...if the song has something to say and is meant to be outfront and is the best part of the song, then by all means stick it out front, but I'm not saying bury the vocals in the mix, just lower it a bit so its just right.

I did all the backing vocals, and mixed this song today. let me know what you think of it before Liam strong arms me into raising the vocals everywhere

Oddly, I could really see you guys playing with World Inferno/Friendship Society or just Franz's solo act and really going over with the crowd.

I remixed everything but evil all day yesterday and today. they're up on the myspace page.
I think it's listenable now.
