Nope, they're not inconsistent. The bodies are from the ill-fated Bass V by Fender, actually the first 5 string electric bass produced. They didn't sell too well, so fender decided to make the swinger out of them. they slapped on a musiscmaster neck, and chopped up the body, and called it a 'swinger'robert(original) wrote:if i remember correctly it was right around 2 grand.
it felt... decent, i supose, the neck pocket really put me off tho.
i viewed it more as a guitar that needed work rather than a guitar i could take home and play.
it would still look cool on my wall tho.
i wonder if all the swingers had the same neck pocket, that would be kind of a trick.
to produce the same in inconsistant peice for 2 years(it was only 2 years right?)
