Is it literally just the size? You don't want anything different about the circuit?

I don't know yet james. i've just came up with the idea, some sketches and junk today right now i'm playing it by ear, which is why i need all of the help i could get.

Do you know why you want a bassman? Having an amp custom made is risky business when you're a sel-proclaimed amp noob.

Yeah, I've played them, my neighbor had one before he moved and i rocked it for a while.
By amp noob i mean like if i built one (and im building it with a guy who knows how to do it) i wouldn't know how many watts it would be. or the different circuitries for them.

Living in America I would just spend the $350 or whatever it is on a silverface AB165 (these aren't hard to get hold of, pretty much any silverface 50w bassman is one) and live with the extra size. They aren't very big amps.

I'm not trying to piss in your cornflakes here and I also like the look of small amps. But when such a good amp can be had for so little monies, and you know it will hold it's value, it seems a needless extravgance to get one custom made because you want it smaller.

I get what your saying but i just see it as the size of the head, and i too like the look of bassmans, but where i live i really cant fit it. and i like the amp so i figured i could just shrink it and junk.
Stupid it may sound but it's just how i roll.
If I could spare the room and all of that then i would own a regular bassman no problem.

yea, bassman heads are not that big at all, especially in comparison to some Marshalls and Mesas I've seen. My brother used to jam with this guy who had a EVH head (made by fender, actually) and the thing was wider than his Marshall 4x10, it was pretty funny looking. Just get one. You're in America, take advantage of the situation.

of course.
No really I live in a room that is crowded with stuff as is, and my dickhead brother hates fun.
but aside from all of that, its something i've never done before and cant be THAT hard.
Also when you photoshopped the mini-bassman and whatnot it appealed to me as something to try.
