Nope. I'm addressing the ridiculousness of the "Classy" comments. Read again.
This is the third time I've had to post this.

For what it's worth, here's my views on the Baja.
I purchased one about two months ago. I couldn't make up my mind whether or not to get a Telecaster Deluxe or Baja. Being miles from anywhere (my nearest shop is not well stocked with Fender gear)...I did a lot of research (on the net and magazines) as well as take a peak at Mike's videos. I got the Deluxe first...didn't like the neck and wasn't sure if I was a fan of humbuckers so got rid...I then got the Baja.
From my perspective there are many many positives including the four way switch options, the S1- button options, great neck, superb pickups, looks good (mines butterscotch blonde), great value for money (mine cost £340 brand new) and it just plays great. OK the switching options might not be to everyone's taste but there are a few there that I could quite easily play whether it be at home, on stage or in the studio.
On the downside, mine is a little heavy but having spoken to Fender they confirmed that the weight is going to vary. I don't live on the mainland UK so going round loads of shops isn't an option plus when I bought mine they were scarce and very few still at the Fender old price.
Overall, I think the Baja is a great guitar and was certainly good value for money (probably still is at the current price) but its down to personal choice at the end of the day. I won't be parting with mine but I will be parting with my 1991 Rickenbacker 360 which I cannot see ever picking up again.

by the way just so you guys know, the squier esquier is classier (what ever that means) than everything going on in this thread to this point.
it has jagstang tuners for fucks sake. you know, the kurdtz?
it has a HOG backplate. i went back there to buy more when i was with jon and slone and the crazy fucks didn't know what i was talking about....so im guessing its like 2 of a kind with the other being on the d00gcaster.
