my jagstang (pizzastangmasterII now) neck is my favorite all time neck. although i played it for 6 years without playing anything else before i started collecting. so my brain processes it as "the right thing" when picking up a guitar and everything else i pick up is something else.
that being said, my 2000 compstang neck feels 99% the same, the only difference being it feels like there is more poly sprayed on it....could just be from me wearing some of the poly down on the jagstang over the years. out of the box im sure its the same neck.
my 65 Reissue mustang neck is a whole different animal. its still 24" scale, but its fatter. not alot but enough to notice it the fist time you pick it up in the shop. it makes it feel more manland i guess you would say. its not bad, just not the same.
my bronco neck is much closer to the jagstang neck than the mg65 but you know its old as fuck so it has its own feel to it.
