jhs don't seem to list it, but the older VS-100 was everywhere a few years back- now gotoh seem to be making it? Don't know the history behind it, whether Wilkinson designed it for gotoh and then decided to make their own or something..
I had one of these on my strat at one time. it's alright, can't say anything bad about it. I prefer the vintage strat bridge though. GFS sells 'em.

While at the shop, I looked at the fine print on the $25 compensated Tele bridge I got from Willows, which said "Wilkinson by Sung Il". Sure enough, Mr. Ryu is now doing OEM hardware for Wilkie, along with Schaller and Floyd Rose. Couple that with Kent Armstong stuff and bodies for WD, and I reckon business is going pretty well.

Yes - it's an amazing bridge. The only TOM I've ever used that doesn't rattle, plus sustain is immense and you don't break strings.

Malik wrote:Seriously, Guitar Fetish do not solely sell Wilkinson parts! If your parts are from Wilkinson, unless it said "WILKINSON ________________" before the part name, it is NOT Wilkinson. Dude with the pickguard, of course that's not made by Wilkinson, it's just a bit of plastic that's been cut out.
Stewmac sells Wilkinson parts, and we know how respectable Stewmac is.
yeah, true

Does your chum make those Van Ghent style tuners up there? I've gone through all the Wilkinson and Gotoh stuff online and not a dickie bird. I'd be amazed if they were NOS, but stranger things have been known.

the new les pauls have locking grovers with chrome tulip head buttons (oh yeah, and strap locks, locking bridge/saddle and a jack socket that clamps the lead in place... for almost £600 more. thanks guys...)
However, I can't for the life of me find any locking grovers that aren't kidney buttons.. so I'll be sticking with snot-green.. i like the look...
