I don't think it is in the same league as the SGV's but Yamaha did release a model called the EGV103.

Out of the SG series, I've gotta say that the SG-2c is by far my favorite, I just wish they weren't so scarce.

It's fairly nearly done as far as I'm aware. Robert hasn't been online too much lately so I haven't had the chance to catch up with him about it. I'm hoping to take it to Doogfest III so Fran can use it to melt faces.

I've got a 300, pickups are weak & characterless, raising the dual bridge p/u (note: its not a humbucker) I seem to hit it with the pick a lot.
Nice instrument to play, thin neck and the trem is well designed. Not decided if I'll keep it yet though.
