The video has come out really well Fran. The lighting, camera work and picture quality are all spot on.
It does look like a performance from music TV program, but thats not a bad thing IMO...
It terms of your outfits, I think bands should make the effort to look like something and not just a bunch of guys who have wandered onstage from out of the crowd, playing live is an overall performance, and that should include the image as well....
Case in point was that battle of the bands in Salford, on the day no bands appearance stood out except for you guys and that bloke with the ridiculous yellow trousers...

HA! He's one of those?Fran wrote:Thanks again guys.
The bassist is the shy one and does'nt particularly like drawing attention to himself, we are not too concerned to be honest, he's a great guy.
He'll be in the audience if he ever wears that fucking Che Guevera t-shirt he owns though.

It's more what's wrong with the concept of mass marketing t-shirts with his face on them to be sold at malls all over the world. His image has become ubiquitous on over-privileged angsty mall rat teens who have no real concept of what he fought for and what the cost of that fight was. The merchandising of Che is preposetrous. His face becoming a staple of anti-war protest gear is equally preposterous.Gavin wrote:What's wrong with Che Guevara?

You say that as a joke, but when I was in high school a bunch of the local Skinheads started wearing shirts that said "Unrepentant Fenian Bastard" on the back with a guy in a baclava on the front. It's really pretty similar to mall kids wearing Che shirts.Fran wrote:Do you think i would look cool in an IRA t-shirt?

Do they listen to 'Rage Against The Machine' in the song with the Zak-led 45 minute revolution for freedom at £50 a ticket ROLF.Mike wrote:We wrote a song about prick students who have Che posters but don't know anything about him.

also, yes che as an anti-war hero is tragically way off kilter.
