Being rather new to the forums I had never heard your playing before Fran. Sounds fucking sweet Dude.

As for the video, I have to agree with the "dirty" idea. I like that each member has their own style, but the bassist needs to find his rocking shoes.

The video has come out really well Fran. The lighting, camera work and picture quality are all spot on.
It does look like a performance from music TV program, but thats not a bad thing IMO...

It terms of your outfits, I think bands should make the effort to look like something and not just a bunch of guys who have wandered onstage from out of the crowd, playing live is an overall performance, and that should include the image as well....

Case in point was that battle of the bands in Salford, on the day no bands appearance stood out except for you guys and that bloke with the ridiculous yellow trousers...

Tell the bass player that if he wants to dress like he's in the audience that pretty soon that's where he'll be.

Thanks again guys.
The bassist is the shy one and does'nt particularly like drawing attention to himself, we are not too concerned to be honest, he's a great guy.
He'll be in the audience if he ever wears that fucking Che Guevera t-shirt he owns though.

It's more what's wrong with the concept of mass marketing t-shirts with his face on them to be sold at malls all over the world. His image has become ubiquitous on over-privileged angsty mall rat teens who have no real concept of what he fought for and what the cost of that fight was. The merchandising of Che is preposetrous. His face becoming a staple of anti-war protest gear is equally preposterous.

I suppose. I wouldn't wear one, even though I think he was a fine fellow, because it's such a cliché. But I wouldn't knock someone for wearing it unless I knew for sure that they were just wearing it because they thought it was cool.

His face has been used as a fashion statement by people that dont have a clue what he was about. I disapprove.

You say that as a joke, but when I was in high school a bunch of the local Skinheads started wearing shirts that said "Unrepentant Fenian Bastard" on the back with a guy in a baclava on the front. It's really pretty similar to mall kids wearing Che shirts.

It's also not the same thing. If you were wearing a Michael Collins t-shirt it would be closer.

Do they listen to 'Rage Against The Machine' in the song with the Zak-led 45 minute revolution for freedom at £50 a ticket ROLF.

The whole of The Holy Bible is their high point. A couple of songs on Gold Against The Soul are alright ("From Despair To Where", "La Tristessa Durera", "Yourself", "Roses In The Hospital"), but pretty much everything before and since has been complete dross. Guy can play guitar though.

careful mike. people say the same things about green day all the time! and you don't want to EVAR be considered in any way by people who even know who green day are, let alone people who like them!

also, yes che as an anti-war hero is tragically way off kilter.
