1 Look at strings
2 Mash fingers into strings
3 Strum other end of strings
4 Declare it to be an A-major sus-47 chord of the Pentecostal scale
5 Smile with satisfaction as 98% of fellow guitarists believe you because they don't understand either

Doog wrote:Good stuff dude- it's one of those songs that works REALLY well as minimal arrangement, it'd be a shame if it ended up as a "full band" song, but that's just my opinion :)
I'm with Doog on this one. To me the vibe of this song is key, I'd leave it intact (not mess with it too much).

Any chance one would be kind enough to type out what chords are used? I suck at hearing something and knowing what note it is.

I agree, this song is perfect the way it is and it's definitely one of the best songs I've heard all year.

if i remember correctly.

the verse is
E - F# - A - E

then on the last bar of the chorus
E - F# - A - B

chorus:
A - E - D - A -E - G# - A - B

Thanks Reece for the transcription and Jamc clarification! Been wanting to play it since I heard it and I couldn't figure it out.

Heard this just now through crappy laptop speakers and it works perfectly. Don't go crazy and overcomplicate it. It doesn't need it imo.
