i think there's just something about the way the nitro finish wears, it just feels amazing. nothing wrong with glossy poly, i've got a fair few guitars like that, but there's something about the neck on my duo-sonic that's just... perfect. it's like wearing a pair of comfy old slippers, that's the best description i can think of!Progrockabuse wrote:i don't own a 60's stang, but i love the feel of my 56 reissue neck. it's a real 60's feels nicer than that, i'm playing the wrong guitar.
the coronado's similar but nowhere near as worn.
Well worn Nitro is the best feeling finish out there, IMO!
