I spent a solid year trying to hunt down a black '50s Danelectro U1, and bid on/lost like 3, before I finally swiped one BIN.
Now they're listed all the time for cheap cause of the recession
Point is, a Squier MM is a lot rarer and 4 months isn't a long time. Just check eBay like twice a day and GBase every so often.

What do these go for in Europe these days? I had one offered yesterday and I've got absolutely no clue how much it is worth ... it has a replacement neck and is a little battered, to the words of the current owner.
No-one any idea? As I read here in wiki, these guitars came from China and were sold about 180 $, what should be no more than 200 € in current money? (We usually pay the same in € as it goes for in USA)
I saw pics today, and the finish is not that bad (it's white). But the missing original neck is of course something that decreases collectible value. I'm not even sure if it is a shortscale neck, so maybe the thing is unplayable ... I'll see.

black, oly white, sonic blue, surf green, shell pink
all the sonic blue ones have faded to surf green by now though. the only way to tell is under the pickguard

I bought a sonic blue one off Sublimedo. Really nice guitar but I never get on with humbuckers. Anyway offered it on here for the price I paid then had to sell on ebay- it got £260 (good original condition, no extra switches,
krazyass green humbuckers or daft pickup covers without holes

) though.

Thanks timhulio. So this one would be a little cheaper because of the missing original neck. Nonetheless, I did receive no answer so far to my question if the intonation is usable at all if he'd put a strat scale neck on it ...

Maybe that was a question I shouldn't have asked if I really wanted that guitar.
