Check the ground wire that's held in place by the tailpiece hasn't broked off and is flapping around inside the cavity- this happened to me and my CIJ Jag when I was a IRL noob and didn't know it could be 'til I went a-poking about.

One of my
attainable dream guitars (black-tort CP Jazzmaster) is hanging up in the local shop and I've got enough money to buy, but possibly be broke for the first term back at uni. R

Shaddap and do it Doog; you'll submit eventually, might as well do it sooner rather than later.

I'd be pissing on my own fireworks if I did- I've got numerous things to pay for at the moment (tour, merch, cd duplication, Doogfest) and buying another Jazzmaster right now would be daft- especially seeing as I've been tooling around with mine to make it as close to my "perfect" guitar as possible.
I guess it's mainly the colour combination that does it for me. I may as well get my one refinished professionally and have one less guitar's worth of guilt.

i sometimes harbour thoughts of selling all my guitars except the coronado and duo-sonic and getting a nicely worn 60s jag. that would be delicious.
i just couldn't justify it though, too expensive.

ONCE ULTRA'D
For the record, it felt really really good.
I've every guitar I've ever wanted and none to add, although Mo's posting of a IBL Bass VI is quite tempting, and/or a very specific Gretsch pair:
Champagne Sparkle 6129T-1962
G6122-1962 Country Gentleman. Forget vintage though, I'll gladly take a Terada.

Would have to be an early 60's Strat. Rosewood board. Probably Lake Placid Blue. Or Sonic Blue over sunburst.

Rob.
You're retarded.
If Gibsons are your dream guitars why do you own like 20 Fenders? Sell the Fenders and buy the Gibson if you have such appalling taste. I'm ashamed of you.
