i had wanted one pretty badly for a while. i was looking at either building a modular system or just cheaping out and getting a juno 6. then i found an old casio digital at a swap meet and it seems to have quenched my desire. as well as remind me of what a crappy keyboard player i am.jcyphe wrote:Analog Synthesizer.

I believe you can find both of those pedals to play in Denmark St, should you want to.othomas2 wrote:Orange Rocker 30 Combo / JCM 800 combo.
Would also quite like to try a 'real' OCD & a Catalinbread DLS
Maybe a Loop Station for home use too...
Although I think the DLS is still hotcakes at the moment at Vintage & Rare.
o.k. cool. I did look at the V&R site and it does say they're sold out... might try snag hotcakesMike wrote:I believe you can find both of those pedals to play in Denmark St, should you want to.othomas2 wrote:Orange Rocker 30 Combo / JCM 800 combo.

... not sure where I may find an OCD though. I still wonder if it would go one step further than the Dano, for me at least.
O
Thanks, I do keep my eyes peeled for a nice Ventura V-1400 (your links) and I have seen those.James wrote:Couple of links with picsJames wrote:A Ventura copy will run you about £450 and will be well worth it.Auriemma wrote:or vintage Barney Kessel (full hollow)

Wish I had a Fender amp sometimes but not really GASing for it. Seeing silverface vibro champs and bassman heads going for as cheap as they do on teh bay is tempting.
Been looking at mid-to-high priced tele pickups a lot too.
Mics, mics, mics, always.
A sizzle [riveted] ride cymbal.
Have been blowing all my money on tele bits and experimenting with tubes (oo-er) in my homemade marshall.

I would also love a good set of Jazz Bass pickups. Reading on the internet has led me to desire a set from Nordstrand. A standard set is about £115 (if bought from the US, it's £147 from the only UK dealer) or about £155 for a set that are hum cancelling whilst still single coils (pictured, £207 in the UK)

I know it'll probably be worth it but it's hard to bring myself to spend that much on them.
