Arr, no problem; when you've got a moment, measure diameters of knobs and switches, and the holes you'd need to drill, and measure the enclosure. If you can be arsed and have access, scan them in too, but that's not such a priority. I'm becoming a past master at turning fag-packet sketches into reality.

Is that Arr like fuck's sake, another one of these pedal clowns wants photoshop work or Arr like some sort of Irish pirate?

'Arr' as in a Devonian 'yes'.

Lazy fuckers. Three working days since my order and no word other than the automated email.

I don't mind waiting, but with shipping from mainland Europe there isn't much chance of me being able to get these done before Doogfest. Hopefully the stuff gets here soon enough that I can drill and paint the boxes and leave them to dry while I'm at Doogfest.

I always prod after a day. "When will this be shipped?"

I'm a pain in the arse but I'm a repeat customer and they had better jump when I say.

I'm sure it's been quicker before, but it's about a ear since I ordered from them last. I'll send an email Monday afternoon if I haven't heard anything.

I found it slightly odd that when I went to my account on the site it still had everything I ordered in my cart. I got an email saying the order had been made, one saying the payment had been processed and a recipet from paypal. The money came out of my paypal account, too.

If they've managed to spanner it I'll cancel and order elsewhere. I thin it will be fine though, just slow.

If that's the case email them and query now, there is still time in the working day left. Get it sorted.

It's 5:40pm in Germany so I don't think I'll get a reply. I'll email anyway though.

4 days unfortunatey in my experience. Maybe you'll get it Friday?

In future if you want cases sooner do:

bitsbox.co.uk
maplin.co.uk

When I've ordered from Banzai before they've been very quick to post. Took them a week this time. They're also not that cheap but it meant I could get everything in one place I suppose.

Welcome to my world. I balance orders between these places, which all are better than and worse than each other in certain ways:

Banzai
Musikding
Small Bear
Futurlec
Rapid
bitsbox
Maplin

I considered Musikding but I made a cart at each to see which was cheapest and it was pretty much the same. They both had some parts cheaper than others but the shipping costs were too high to make it worthwhile ordering the cheapest from each. I went with Banzai for some silly reason like an Aqua coloured LED.

I got out my box of resistors and caps last night and realised I forgot to check I actually have the necessary parts to build these. I ordered the diodes and transistors even though I likely have a few of the right types, but the resistors and caps I assumed I was ok with. Hopefully that bulk futurelec order from a year or so ago will carry me through.

Still, I'll cover the disappointment of it being unlikely that I can start these before Doogfest with the happy news that the Mooninite Loop pedal is now on the cards.

If you are missing parts hit me up with a PM, and I'll dig them from my collection and bring them to you at Doogfest.

Do it before Thursday.

Will sort it today. Need to organise circuits first but I think I know what I'm going with.

OK. I have pretty much everything so don't be shy.

Ok I need

2x 10k resistors
1x 100uf cap
2 x tranistor mounting socket (the little bit ofic strip type stuff cut down, you know the thing i mean)
1 x CP Jaguar
1 x Tiny Terror

I think that's everything. I'll buy you a beer or something for it.

Crap, I had a big bitsbox order I thought I put through but didn't. Arsesticks. I'll do it now.

I'm out of 10k's and transistor strip, but can improvise if my stuff doesn't get here in time.

It was all jos keeding. The 10k resistors and other bits were a ruse to steal away with the Jag and TT. I haven't checked what I have yet.
