Epiphone Wilshires on the cheap?

They're nice looking guitars. Never played one though....closest thing I did was a 90's epi with a bolt on neck, single coil in neck and humbucker in bridge.....it played and sounded ok, but was puke gold sparkle

i payed 300 for each.

the white one i got from music123.com back in 06 and the red one i got from HOG last year when bobby came to visit from ENGLAND. it took me two trips to rochester to buy the red one. the people at house of guitars wouldn't sell it to me the first time because, it had no price tag, they couldn't find the reciept of what they payed for it, the red one didn't even exist online at the time. i think i got like the first one ever imported or something. they actually wouldn't sell it to me because they couldn't give me a price. HOG is fucked up kids

Whats your opinion of it? Any reason to get one if I already have two setneck HH guitars? Astounding playability, etc.

Since I bought the guitar for playing, not collecting, I decided to turn it into my System of a Down guitar. I put 12's on it, dropped it a whole step then dropped the bottom to C. I like to play along with Toxicity and Steal This Album.

Someone has been trying to shift one of these parple ones for super cheap on MTl Craigslist for ages...
Niche market, I guess. I generally love these but the dude's picture of it is SO bad that I'm completely turned off from it.
Also I think the guard has been painted gold, or something... badly.
