Jesus, he probably shouldn't vote then either? That's freedom of speech, and on top of that, it's an attempt to preserve someone else's rights! If politics ahd to be secret, then we're just a hop skip and a jump from falling back into a dictatorship. There's a country out there that says what you can and can't alk about publicly. It's called China. If you talk about the wrong thing, POW! It's jail for you, buddy!
*bwah. Just read his give up post. Now my China spech is wasted.

Spray painting on private property is not protected speech by any means. Also hahaha at falling BACK into a dictatorship.
In any case, I don't really boycott companies, but I did emphasize Dano's position to friends who would find that sort of action important. Mr. Dano can support whatever he likes, and I don't have to agree with him, but using his products, in my mind, is not a vote for or against what he likes/supports.
That aside, I don't dig this anyway where as much as the Dano Pro.

I guess iread it as he had painted his own garage. BUt I see how it could mean someone else painted it.
As far as a dictatorship goes, perhaps you recall Bush's fancy new rules which allowed him to label anyone on earth an illegal enemy combatant and jail them without trial?

You mean the ones that Obama didn't immediately repeal?

How about you read and comprehend the points people are making as to why you should care, rather than just burying your head in the sand and saying "you win"?
Man. Up.
I'll im saying is we should just stop aruging about it. There's no point, were bickering on the internet about a guitar company. I'm just pulling my self out of this argument, if that makes me not a man, then so be it.

I do like the new 63's a lot. I also like the dano pro's but they don't have high enough fret access though, you can hardly reach the 14th.
It’s the business for playing big fuzzed up chords (neck pickup / big muff) Shoegazing heaven

I simply can't want one of these bad enough to justify spending my nut sweat soaked cash knowing it could be used to in support of this cause.
Exactly. All that money that his company donated to fight Prop 8 started off in the pockets of musician consumers at some point.
As far as the Hornet being ugly, well to each his own. If it weren't for the homophobic baggage, I would gay-marry that guitar and give it a reach-around. Because it's just so damn sexy in my eyes.
I just opened my new Guitar Center 45th anniversary catalogue and the have the 67 in 3-tone sunburst. Could not find the pic of it online. I am liking the other colors (orange is very nice) better.
Don't knock 'em until you try 'em. It never ceases to amaze me how people are quick to judge an instrument based on it's looks rather than how it plays and how it sounds. I personally like Danelectros.
