I understand, and I appreciate the advice. I would honestly like to be able to have it professionally repaired; but due to a lack of money, it is simply not an option right now.

I don't know if shops in Canada do this but in America any vinatge guitar shop will probably do the repair if you agree to put the guitar on cosignment with them. They will subtract the repair fee and usually 10% of the sale value. This might only be worth it for you if you can make a lot more with their repair. Usually a good vinatge shop with a built in client base will get you a better price for a vintage guitar liek that.

Also see if that dude SGlou on reranch will give you any advice.

many of us here have ties to ohio.

me, mickie, robertOG all used to live in dayton in 2000 but didn't know each other on here until we moved to opposite ends of the country.

i used to date a girl that lived in pickrington, and another girl that went to CCAD. crazy fucker she was.

i miss that record shop on high street very much.

I'd be totally up for a dayton/Columbus meetup the next time I am back there but I am not sure when i will be there.

Like ROBROE, I have ties to both Dayton (Miamisburg to be more specific) and Columbus (OSU).
They say great minds think alike....Sometimes we do too...
