Reviews give them pretty decent grades so I may have to give it a shot. I will oreder one (when they are available) somehwere with a good retunr policy though for sure. Hell for 200 for a 2x12 and no tax/shipping, It can't be that bad and I can always upgrade speakers if necessary.
Did you find any details about the construction of the cabinet? 200 bucks for a loaded 2x12 is a great deal, provided the drivers are decent. Are you looking at a closed or open back design?

2x12 is not out for another month so there is not alot of info about it. I think it is closed back though.

I found a place online that has the 22 watt (matchless copy) combo in stock for 349. I am seriously considering it.

Seriously.
If they did anywhere as good a job with the Matchless combo as they did with the 1960 Classic, at that price, It would be a definite contender for recording purposes.

The V55 and V55HD run on power pentode tubes, but include a Mode switch that lets you run the power section as if it had triode tubes – that is, at about 40 percent less power. This gives you the option of going beyond old-school – straight to elderly school.

Don't a bunch of amps already feature this option and call it "half power" instead of some douchebag too cool for school term, tho?

Maybe I'm confusing this for some other shit...

yeah, it's in other amps. you can actually do it in a lot of amps if you want to dick with them, but personally i've never like the sound from the 'triode mode' in the amps i've tried.

Haha! What?
Does "Bugera" mean "dead baby fucker" in Nepalese or something?

I like the name. It reminds me of a great cat that is made out of hamburgers.
Both majestic and delicious.

I either read it as 'buggerer' or 'baghera' from the jungle book.

So, I have been watching youtube demos all night. These amps seem to kick ass for the price. I am going to order either the v22 or the v55 this week. To make it even better, they are offering an additional 15% off right now. That means the v22, 2 channel 1x12 combo would only be @298 USD shipped to my house and either of the the 1960 (plexi ripoff) or v55 head would only be 385 shipped. Of course I dont have a cab so I would have to order a cabinet. The 2x12 would run an additional 170 plus a shipping charge.

Hell of a deal though. I might oreder the v22 combo and a 2x12 (curious to see how it would sound through 2x12) for now and if they hold up for a bit, pick up one of the plexu heads down the road.

It's gear time for sure. I am getting the Univox mosrite style guitar from the classifieds here and I talked to a guy tonight who has a Classic Vibe strat for sale locally for $100. If I can get to it tommorrow I am going to get that too...

I just ordered the 5 watt version today for 149.99 plus I got no tax, free shipping and 15% off. so $127.50 shipped to home.

% watt that can be dropped down as low as .5 watts.

8" speaker

Volume, Tone, Gain, and Reverb

Headphone out.

8" speaker.

We will see how these are. If it sounds decent I am going to order wither the 22 watt or 55 watt 2 channel when they are avalaible at american musical supply.

Either way, a 5 watt tube amp for the price of a crate practice amp....FTW.

Also picked up the univox from Bramblpro and ordered a Takamine a/e guitar/case. So I am back in game.. YEAH>
