I'm pretty decided on the Bugera, but I read about some reliability issues..

Guitar Center just started carrying them here in the US. Do you have one near you that you could check?

I have a local store (independent) that Bugera says is a dealer, I emailed them to see if they have any. All the online stores are sold out until Nov 1. I have a gig on the 30th (Oct), and it'd be great if I had an amp by then. Any vendors have some left? I've checked all the major online ones.. Thanks for the help.

I would recommend my amp, but Marshall doesn't make it anymore

I adore the clean channel on my Marshall JTM 30. Unfortunately they are only available on eBay.

I did a quick google and found some rave reviews of this amp, you guys had any experience?

The knobs are more subtle for sure, but I like it better than extremely sensitive knobs. I have read of other people having reliability issues, but mine has been a champ.

you can buy fender cougar 1000's for like 100 bucks used now.

they made an amp called the ROCPRO 1000 after the performer1000. same guts, uglier box.

Yeah - I'm using it through (don't laugh) an 80s homemade PA non-powered speaker with a 12" peavey in it. It also has 'tweeters' wired up (the difference from an actual cab).

I know it's a bit of a joke. Looking into a cab during the holidays, should I just go with the Bugera 2x12 or are there any other (CHEAP!) options? Thanks.

I just realized this is the first amp I've bought new. :o

you should buy my Bugera 4x12, its literally brand spanking new. If you're anywhere near oklahoma that is, shipping would kill us both

Alas, I'm way over in Vermont.

Considering I have very small gigs, I think a 4x12 would obliterate, too.

More speakers doesn't equal more volume.

Hmmm. So he'll need two 412's then?
