The only use I found for the Jag-Stang was it's case.

Gavin, I'm 99% sure that tweed case is the same case hurb gave me his guyatone in. Unfortunately I'm not at home at the minute so I can't actually try out my Jaguar in it.
Which makes this post sort of pointless.

Ho hum.
it does. :)

In 9 years of heavy usage I've never bought a hard case for my Jaguar because nobody really makes one. The Fender one is really a Jazzmaster-specific case and the Jag headstock sits shitty in it, seems wrong as hell to pay that much for the wrong thing and have it do a half-assed job. I imagine getting some foam/plush covering from a hobby shop and then a decent used hardshell from a junk shop/mom and pop place would be the cheapest option.

I just used the carcass of a dead ton-ton. Worked great for me.

That GuitWild guy on youtoob shows you how to make your own case. If I get some free time I'll try to make one for my Jag. Seems simple enough.

i got my first hh jag secondhand, and it came with a dandy hsc, though i don't know who made it. it was definitely not a fender, and could not have been that spendy. i'll see if i can find what brand it was.

Check their other cases too. $49 totally worth it, and their customer support is great. They ship really fast too!

Maybe I should start a Short Scale Case company?

Seems like there is a need for cases to fit our babies right.

Generics just don't get the job done

I also did fine with the Musicians friend $50 "Universal" hard case. A buddy got one later and it was super tight though.

- Jag/Jazz case from Fender/Hiscox
- Bass case

Luckily I held onto the one my Jag-Stang came in.
Is it possible to get the Hiscox Jag case here in the US?
