The Kurt Cobain guitar - that was funny..
All these reissues for kids who listen Jimi and find it their 'guitar god'.. thats funny.
for 169 get the 'tone' of hendrix..
little crappy amp - woodo child.. parasites on talent.

Hendrix often said one of his favorite guitars was his Gibson Flying V, don't you think that would be the way to go?

If they are using rear routs and plate for the pots why do they need the big strat pickguard? Kind of back assward.

this is so retarded it inverts my brain. Gibson are taking one hell of a nosedive as of late.

All my joking aside on this topic, at least Gibson are trying something 'different' by their standards. I'd sure like to see Fender make some Chuck Berry 335 if the outcome is anything like Stewarts Semi.
But for now, we'll just sit and watch them churn out another bunch of Telecasters whilst we laugh at Gibson.

I think Fender are doing some good stuff. The CP Jaguars and Jazzmasters are fantastic and a smart move.

i'd like to see more done with the esquire and mustang tbh.

Yeah, they should make a two pickup version of the Esquire, and then maybe a one pickup version of the Mustang with a different bridge.
Those'd be awesome.
