i have no qualms about the bedroom player bit, truth is i don't do any shows or what not, but i hate re-tuning guitars all the time :lol:

No, just half as much as the whole guitar. If I'd bought TV Jones, they'd have cost more than the whole guitar. :lol:


Clips below. The first three are with the Filtertron pickups. There's a couple of clips of the stock guitar below them as well. All recorded using Amplitube Fender. No real amps used, unfortunately.

Those Filtertrons sure cleaned up the sound, it's kind of silvery or glassy compared to the P90s. Much more Fender sounding (if that makes sense for a Gretsch pickup) (no wait, Fender own Gretsch).
Any good sources for Filtertrons? I want to put some in my Sheraton.

Yeah, the P90s sounded a little nasal. I'm sure they were the cheapest P90s available, though.

I bought them for $50 each from this guy:

But I don't think he has any more. I'd just keep a look out on ebay for deals.
