I might pick one of these up as a beater/backup to my Jazzmaster. Plus it'd be fun to have a guitar with P90s. They look good, minus that awful tort. Surf green or orange... hmmm
This might give Fender some incentive to do a Standard series or perhaps Squier version of their offsets. I mean really, are they that much more expensive to make than a Stratocaster? I think the trems have about the same amount of metal, and doing away with the rhythm circuit could simplify things.

the tort is bright, but it kinda looks like (in picture form) some of the vintage fender guards i've seen. that kinda look cheap to me, anyways.
