I can get a pretty good bluesy, thick fuzzy distorted sound from my JB/Jazz. They both clean up pretty good so you can get a bit of a surfy twang while playing clean. Im in love with my Super Sonic, mind you I've been starting to mod the look of it a bit, still a sex machine. Cheers man. ((front))
