yea pretty much the approach. Also the 'touch.' How the player uses his fingers. If you have a light touch you're going to sound way different than if you had a hard touch. This applies to bends, chords, everything. Word. I sent a message to Skeleton Key asking bassist/singer what his setup is because I lurrrrve his bass sound.
