I'm a tortex red/orange guy(thins). I'm actually not a huge fan of heavy picks. I feel I have a better rhythm tone with lighter picks and can flow more easily when playing, but that's for me.

I like these, reallly.. durable and have a nice feeling for the fingers, the material theyre made of is good.


then I use thumb pick for some fingerpicking stuff..
(its quite comfortable even when strumming)

3MM Big Stubby (my main pick for electric and for acoustic gypsy swing)


Teckpick (for noise rock and soundscapes and slide)


Dunlop .73 (for acoustic)

I also use my fingers alot. For acoustic I`m mostly all fingers, but electric I like to use picks.

i'd thought about trying metal picks but when i considered it further, i realised i'd end up knocking chunks out of the finish on my guitars. the upper horns would be scraped to hell.

Yea man that`s highly possible. I used to play real hard on my tele with those teckpicks and man did I ever give it a grinding.
Even put big scratches in the bakelite guard. I`m much more careful with my JM.

I used to use Höfners (like Dunlop stubbies), then when they were discontinued Gibson small teardrop (stiff), then when they were discontinued Dunlop Stubbies.. for the last few years I've used the small red pointy Jazz IIIs.

Yellow/Green totex or .96mm gator grips.

next time i get some picks they're gonna be tortex's or gator grips though.

dont mind big stubbies, but theyre just too much and i dont need that kind of thickness for any reason.

Used to use these, but then found I had more control with thinner (although still fairly thick) picks. At the moment I use the .94mm nylon Dunlops. Planning on getting some slightly thicker ones in Tortex though soon.

a massive order was put in for custom logo'd tortex picks from dunlop a couple of months ago, but they've all been accounted for.
