Yea,
I like a lot of the old smashing pumpkins stuff so I know it'll hit that stuff very well. I also dig the Trystie Drive. I thought about the Saltbreaker but I think the Trystie is a little bit smoohter, lower gain OD which I'm looking for considering I have a Rat, DS-2, Muff, etc...I don't need much more distortion.

You ALWAYS need more distortion. I don't think I'll ever have enough dirt on my board.

I've all manner of fuzz... Green Muff (yes I realize thats technically a distortion), E.C. Thunder, Shiva, Fender Blender... what I need to start investing in is some plain old overdrive. I think I'm finally going to order the Behringer Bass Overdrive I've been talking about getting forever. I've also been playing with the idea of a compression pedal.

I like the Trystie Drive that MBM has compared to his Saltbreaker. It's a nice low-medium OD but that Trystie is a nice tone all the way through and through. Worth a listen I think.

i ended up selling my FF and got a big muff.
the only real sound that i was using it for was for the crazy oscillation/feedback but after a while the sound started to annoy me
