i believe that is the plan. it involves far less work.
toggle is also fucked.
so i'm gonna scavenge my parts bin and put in a 3-way.
hopefully it will last until feb 12th when we play with chixdiggit.

You could always cut down the split with a saw and then glue it back together.
Would be alot sturdier than before.

Makes me upset this does... it's not cool in the first place let alone posting pictures of it.
There are probably a ton of kids out there that would love this guitar as much as you haven't...

i've already been over this with you in a million different threads around here, and i purchased this guitar pretty much to destroy it, its a bullet strat, this was its sole purpose in life.

You could do it up like we did my friends starcaster-strat that split and nail/wood putty it back together. It will look very alternative.

but yea, just play it. lee renaldo played that red compstang with a split all the way through the body for years.
