The delay sounds nice, the rest are underwhelming. Especially their high gain one.

Pitchblack clone looks good though.

Don't be bummed out about buying the pitchblack. At least I know mine won't crap out on me. Plus it's one of the better tuners on the market for a number of reasons (including price)

ha. Good idea.

Wait until I've bought all the stuff I want to, though.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I love the Pitch Black as much as one can love a tuner pedal.
Had I known that GFS was going to come out with half priced a knockoff, I might have given that a shot first, that's all.

I dunno why people try to always hide the digital nature of a delay. Some of the best delay pedals I've heard are digital.

I have a Deluxe Memory Man, and I have my Echo Base on my board.

Go Figure.

YESSSSSS

Are these made by children or something? How are they so cheap?

the fact that they don't sound very good is probably a clue...

Are you basing your opinion on the sound samples from the website or personal experience?

website sound samples.

You'd imagine they'd put their best foot forward in those. But they all sound right junk. Except the delay... which still doesn't sound any better than my dano fab delay.

All the dirt pedals are set WAY bright, especially given the quite dull sounding amp. They're decent enough boxes when dialled in right.

Well, I got the tuner yesterday. Seems a very good deal for the money. The display is HUGE and bright. You should be able to see it all the way across stage. It seems a little jumpy though. I haven't used it much yet. I tuned my guitar using the strobe on my Korg DTR-1 and then check it with the GFS tuner and it seemed pretty spot on so it seems accurate enough. I think the only thing the Pitch Black has over it is the strobe and Hz settings. I'll have to play with it a little more today. The battery compartment cover is a really cheap plastic that isn't connected in any way so I suspect it will break or get lost a lot. I probably wouldn't use a battery with it anyway. The huge/bright display would probably eat batteries up fast.

Alright. I just fiddled around with it some more. It's not as jumpy as I thought it was. It's actually pretty stable. It seems it might be true bypass also. I haven't opened it up to take a look yet though. I've been just plugging into the bypass jack so it's always on/tuning while I play. Not sure if it's coloring my tone at all yet. Don't really care though as my tone didn't sound bad while it was on.
