Has anyone said this:

Mustangs/DuoIIs/MusicmasterIIs were not Daphne, Dakota, Fiesta anything. They were just white, blue and red. Not car colours.

semantics. it's technically correct, yes, but it's too general and lacking in information. what kind of red? what kind of blue? especially since music masters and broncos later came in a "red" that was not the same as the dakota red "red".

changed my mind again. and this is the exact look im going for now (maybe.)

i love the colour here, i wouldnt do the sparkle effect though. any idea what the colour is? im assuming its not a fender original? any pointers would be ace

i will either do matching headstock and black pickguard
or non matching and white pickguard

I'm pretty sure Fender Japan still makes mustangs with that orange color. My Fender Cyclone is that orange color as well, but I haven't seen that orange color on any Fender since then.

Not the Fender orange I know... even if its faded a little. That orange body color is closer to my stripes than the body.
