The body looks to be 45mm(?) someone on JS wanted to do something similar to this but a stock Mustang body does'nt leave much depth for a Jaguar trem route.
Shaving the bolt down on the tremolo to size will ease worries on the route depth.
Yeah i remember you mentioning that.

I don't think going through the body completely would really be that detrimental. After, strats have a backplate for their trems.

Still on the lookout, but it will probably be awhile before I get one unless an amazing deal falls in my lap.

Colors I'm currently considering:
Burgundy Mist
Sherwood Green
Champagne
some sort of purple

Might or might not go with competition stripes. Also, will probably use a mint pickguard, but pearloid might be okay with the metallic colors.

Pickups I'm considering:
-Lace sensors (liked them in my old '69 RI)
-maybe something more vintagey

one more pic before i get it.

should be making its way here soon from California. Then I'll use grain filler, sand it, and probably let it sit until I get the chance to prime and paint it.

Not to take any attention from your guitar, which looks very nice so far, but is that a natural compstripe on the right? :o

Looks like it, I also see some more interesting stuff:

- Jag-Stang HH with Jag trem
- Stock Jazzmaster
- Mustang with Maple Quilted Cap (yikes)

The guy goes by 'andrewdoeshair' on OSG, as far as I know he doesn't post here.

He's very friendly and easy to deal with, and also offers extremely good prices. I think he's kinda busy with his current builds, but I'm sure he'd be glad to take on some new customers in the future.

He can build pretty much any standard Fender shape, but if you want modifications to it he's willing and able to accommodate. Although I haven't actually received the product yet, if it's as good as it looks in the pictures, I think this guy's a real winner.

Yep, he did it with a couple walnut 'sandwich' strips iirc.

I love his stuff, I die laughing all the time. He takes Mustangs, Jazzmaster, Jagstang, Tele & etc and mismatches parts.... "this don't work.... ughh... how bout this!". I hear he visits offset forum. Wish he'd post here or on JS. He throws his projects on ebay for next to nothing, people bid his stuff up quick.
Who and where and how do I get a hold of this person??! He seems to be exactly the crazy motherfucker I need to make the Bronco body I want.

Looking good.
This is setting me off a bit, i fancy building a Non-Reverse Firebird next..

Are you considering a maple black B&B neck? I think that would suit this project.
