mazin. i don't even want to ask what the price was. considering what i'd pay for an OG wide-range. that is really special pat, a spectacular find.

well people today finally, i just thought that instead of sitting here writing about how i'll change the pot someday... i should better get off my ass and take advantage that wife and kid are still sleeping... so i just did it. and i must say... hey i'm getting better with the soldering iron.
ok it's done. one '74 250k pot out and one new 1meg pot in. and WHOA what a change!!! i was just able to plug into the champ for a quiet minute but it's chrystal clear now. NICE!!!
ok it COULD be a bit cleaner...
unfortunately, the new pot is a bit higher/longer... oh well.
also got an old bronco bridge for free over at osg, so she's complete now... READY TO RUMBLE!!!
good... so, what else do i have to make/do today? heh
Pat.
ps: expect demo vid soon!

to lower the pot: put a nut on the pot on the back side of the plate.

I LOVE IT!
The Broncoblaster rules! Sounds fantastic!
I actually like the white knobs... I wouldn't change them.

Loved the demo part 1 - excellent playing - loved the super metal pedal - and the cameo's by the cat and the wife made it a short slice of life movie!
I'll check out part 2 tomorrow.

fantastic! loved the spaceman 3 part. the guitar really does sound very good.
super metal and digital chorus prices are now skyrocketing on eBay as we speak.

I can see that becoming your main player - it seems to have it all.
Charming demo - just cool to see someone so into their playing.

thanks for all the kind words, guys... i really appreciate it.
i was kinda shy to do these demos, as i consider myself a rather awkward guy with a squeaky voice, but you're really boosting my confidence!
well yes, i'll demo anything you're interested in, for sure!
lemme know!

I love the sound of that Bronco. I was skeptical about the WR hummie, but the 1M pot really cleaned it up a lot. This demo further convinces me I need to get all the Fender Student Models (or make my own) The Bronco has lots of Character. Great Job!

very nice guitar! I'm interested now in making/finding a broncoblaster. How much did the guitar cost?

You're very articulate and detailed when you give demos, they don't come off as awkward at all.
Great demo of the Bronco, and those oddball effects. I laughed when you said it sounds like a little slice of hell or something like that.
