I can remember the days when a MIM Tele cost £229, now Squiers are more than that  They're going to have to start a new budget line, this one is getting too expensive.

thet still have the cheap squiers though. Bullet strats are still 119 over here. The difference is these are on par with some of the higher end fender stuff once you get a good setup on them. I have had 3 of them (1 duo--well techincally a bunch of duos... and 2 teles.)

The quality far exceeds an MIM Standard.

These are not budget guitars. The Affinity series are.

FINALLY had the chance to pick up a CV Tele the other day, i almost emptied my pockets right there and i didn't even have a chance to plug it in. The fit and finish is miles ahead of my #1 [MIM] Tele that i'm playing now.

A lefty Affinty Strat cost something like £199. £299 for these is a bargain.

PROTIP: when your location is Bristol people from america are going to think you live in Bristol Connecticut, USA

if you are from the island, you should put something about it in your location

Fuck that noise. That Bristol is the real Bristol. If you're in Fake City, USA you should put USA or the state after it, not otherwise.

That's not true rob, Bristol in the UK is much more well-known the world over. I've lived in the US for 15 years and have never heard anything about Bristol in Connecticut, cause I imagine it's one of those bumfuck dealies where you have to live nearby or know someone who lives there.

Whereas the other Bristol, the REAL one produced triphop, Tricky, Massive Attack and Portishead.

Rob, I won't go in to the Heritage of this Bristol, and how the first voyage to discover North America since Leif Ericsson left here in 1497, I won't mention John Cabot and all that. Not that I'm a natve Bristolian anyway.

Also, GAK get the guitars on the 26th Feb so still a bit of time to get the cash. There is a digital village here in Bristol so I might get to see if I can try it here. That is if they don't pull the non refundable deposit to try gear out bull shit they tried to do to me when I was wanting to try amps

Let's not let the fact that Bristol, UK is almost ten times the size of Bristol, US get in the way, either...
