Quite an embarrassing demo really that. Even if I was into the tone and that "style" of playing I still dont think that video would have sold it to me.
I thought the guy without the tie was giving him instructions - "If you could just pull the circuit breaker for this stand when the guy goes for his break..." and the guy in the tie was nodding his OK to that.mage wrote:lol @ the guy in the tie coming around the corner and nodding his head approvingly of the atrocious wankery taking place.
Yeah I noticed that. He came over to tell the guy to shut the hell up but then quickly realised it was a Demo. I am renaming this amp the Ibanez Douche Screamer Ampmage wrote:lol @ the guy in the tie coming around the corner and nodding his head approvingly of the atrocious wankery taking place.

TieDye wrote:That's a cool amp idea. Can't wait to check one out!
TieDye wrote:No, it's an amp with a tube screamer built in.
Well, if you WATCH video # 2 above, it says "It has a tubescreamer circuit built right into the front end of the amp." Maybe if you built guitar pedals or amps for a living, like one of us does, you would understand this. It means that the tubescreamer circuit is built into the amp. What about that don't you get?pumpkin wrote:TieDye wrote:No, it's an amp with a tube screamer built in.
Are you going to mod the ibanez tubescreamer amps?TieDye wrote:Well, here in the states, a good modified tubescreamer clone makes me good money. An off the shelf tubescreamer of any model needs much help. I mod ones every week, and I also build several variations on the theme.
Yes, if someone pays me to do so.Johno wrote:Are you going to mod the ibanez tubescreamer amps?TieDye wrote:Well, here in the states, a good modified tubescreamer clone makes me good money. Good for you, I'm not really interested in that market, or indeed in charging people a lot of money for tubescreamer derivatives.TieDye wrote:Well, here in the states, a good modified tubescreamer clone makes me good money. I am not a fan of tube screamers. I am also not a fan of people who state the obvious.TieDye wrote:Well, if you WATCH video # 2 above, it says "It has a tubescreamer circuit built right into the front end of the amp."
