I have the single coil version, I think it's just fine.
If you're looking to do something, these are things that I did to mine that I think were improvements:
1) replace tuners with Gotohs
2) replace pickup selection sliders with toggle switch

UPDATE.
Since getting this I have:
- Changed the bridge pickup because it was too weak for my tastes.
Swapped the bridge for a jag bridge (soon to be changed to a mustang bridge).
Temporarily put a 69 RI Mustang neck on it.
It now plays and feels SOOO much better. It always felt weird with the original neck and bridge. The neck was a little too thick for me, but I like super thin necks. The bridge worked fine, but even after lowering it all the way, the action was still too high. I would have had to route the body to recess the tune-o-matic to get it how I wanted it.
As of now I'm looking for a new vintage radius neck for it, the thinnest jag neck I can find. I'm also considering putting P90's in it, or some other GFS vintageish pickups.

Get P-Rails!
Why temporarily? I think a RI Mustang neck makes perfect sense for a Jaguar.
And yeah, I noticed that about the Blacktop Jag as well. Tune-O-Matic does not go flush enough. However, you can shim the neck easily.

Looks great! Did that bridge just drop right in? I'm curious because I have both a CP Jag and JM and have been looking at potential replacement bridges.

Well I bought the neck for this project:

What are P-Rails?

Actually yeah, it fit right in the existing holes from the tune-o-matic. I just have a couple washers under each side to adjust the height. With the string tension it's solid and doesn't move.

They're P-90s/rails single coils in a humbucker housing:
With a triple shot, you can have series, parallel, rail, or P-90.

Leave the Mustang neck, get rid of CP one for extra mod dough.
