That looks like something that rickenbacker should make. I like the body strangely enough, and it'd appeal to more modern bass players, while still retaining the sounds old players like

haha, yeah. I was wondering which contemporary bands he was thinking of that are still using Warwicks (which this now looks vaguely like) and similar.

He may just mean those cheesy looking Ibanez things that shot to the top during the nu-metal craze though (SR? SRG? the ones with penises, whatever they're called)
