I decided to tidy this project up a little giving the body a bit of a respray. Here's how its looking at the moment, the bucker does'nt work so im waiting on a replacement.

The neck came with a brass nut fitted, which i am pleased about.

I found them under the folder 'JS project 2'. Its looking ace Fran. Good job on matching up the colours on the forearm contour.

I know, just cant afford to do all that extra stuff for the sake of it. Nothing more planned unless i change the pups.

Job done. No further modifications at this point.
Plays and sounds well, the bridge bucker is a SH-5 (from Thom) and the neck pup is the Burns rez-o-matic with a plain cover.
Pleased with the project as it came in well under £200, its a beater but that does'nt bother me. The neck turned out to be a great bargain. :D

Looks good Fran, I'd love me a beater JS. The SH-5 is a really good pick up for the guitar I think, much prefer it to the SH-4. Only reason I am swapping it out is curiosity and wanting a change.
