Guitar Parts Resource have this - all I could find at the moment but I will keep my eyes open. Could work for a Dot or a Les Paul - you'd probably need to cut off the bottom screw mount and drill a hole in the centre instead:
That's fantastic, it appears you are a stand-up guy. I just need tuners and the main work can start!
If you do the tailpiece thing, make sure you measure the centreline - I did it by tying a loop of string around the nut, with a trailing end, then flipping the string up over the back of the headstock (so it wrapped over the centre of the tip of the headstock), then held it straight and lined it up with the centre of the nut (between D and G) and ran it down the neck between the D and G saddles. That gave me the right centre line for the tail end of the guitar - mine was about 3/4 inch off line, from the factory. I drilled 2 holes before I realised (now hidden by the plate).
i was going to do a demo now that this wonderful guitar is in my hands.. and then i did a search and found this thread.
so i'm bumping the fuck out of it, because hotrod kills the demo (better then i could anyways)
but i'll ad some new shots (i changed out the pup cover from white to black, couldn't find my spare robroes kicking about)
so far o love it, jammed with it on monday with the band, word is its a keeper.
since it arrived i don't think i've so much as picked up another guitar (well aside from my other mustang...)
love the bridge, love the neck pup (what are they?)
kinda wish it still had the mustang switching instead of a 3-way.. but it works really well. had to do some minor setup adjustments to get rid of a buzz on the g string, but it plays like a dream.
good news, i'm glad you like it. it truly gives a playing experience unlike any of my other guitars.
bridge: dragonforce hotrail ($15 on ebay - fucking awesome tone, i will probably be putting one of these in the jagstang)
neck: MIM roadworn strat middle pickup
you could easily rig up the mustang switches, however, i'm not sure how you put a rail in/out of phase.

neither am i, my red stang has a diMarzio class of `55 in the neck and a hot rails in the bridge (from my mim duo..) but the switching is fucked up, its either all ff or just the neck .. i'll have to pull it apart and look at it the next time i switch strings.
we saying awesome to the use of the brostang live? or my shittyGood Charlotte suicide spikes...
played like a dream live, little bit of tuning issues, but that was probably due to putting a new set of strings on it earlier this week, fortunately i picked up a tu300 so it all worked out well.
alas no one took any video, so still no brostang or vox ac100cph demos from me yet.
Awesome to see it's already being used live! I'm glad you like it.
The Telecaster arrived on Friday. It plays great! Looks awesome too. It's extremely heavy but that isn't something that bothers me. I've never been concerned with the weight of guitars. I LOVE it's neck.
Brostang is much darker and has a slight greenish hue. The Maverick is ReRanch Ice Blue Metallic, it's just not a good refin. The dark streaks are from when the previous owner sprayed tinted clear coat on it. I want to refinish it in either the sunburst front/black back found on all Mavericks or Sherwood Green. I just have no clue when I'll be able to get around to it.
Brostang and Maverick together for comparison.
EDIT: Upon posting this pic I realized how rad the Brostang looks with the black neck pickup cover serfx put on it.
