I found one used at guitar center for $99 in 2005. It was the height of my Radiohead obsession, and I was stoked about finding one. I used to play "My Iron Lung" with it for hours. Mine was very dirty though, and something about it seemed a little bit off. Unfortunately the time came when I needed money, so I ebayed it...which I still regret. It sold for $600 though, which amazed the hell out of me. I really should of just kept it.

yea i would sell it and buy a Boss PS-5, which i like even more and is readily available and affordable.

I don't know about the ps5, but the ps3 doesn't sound like a whammy, i really regret selling mine

I sold my wh-1 when I got a cheap deal on PS-5. sounds almost the same.

weird! maybe it's the ps3. My whammy was a v4. Also, when i turn the ps3 on with distortion before it (if it's not suppose to have any effect) it turns the sound to shit.

PS3 is great! but different than the PS-5. PS-5 in T-arm mode with expression pedal is very much like a Whammy. Without expression pedal and you can set a knob to time the pitchshift which gives you a very smooth pitchshift. I like this better than using the expression pedal.
