What gauge strings are you playing on your Baja? I was thinking .11s because they are on all my other electrics.

I just got the Baja tele pickups in yesterday. They are from a new Baja Tele. My next step is to mount them and make sure the cavities are large enough. I won't wire it up until after I finish body work and paint.
Before I put the pickups, I want to check the output myself. How can I check them using a multimeter?

Set it to 20k ohms, put the black on ground, red on hot. Tadaaaaa!

Thank you for the tips.
I measured the pickups and the output values are:
Twisted Tele Neck pickup:
5.85K
Broadcaster Custom Bridge Pickup:
9.08K
I was surprised how far apart the output values were. I want to mount them and make sure they will fit in the cavity holes I made before I take the guitar apart again.
Here is the mounting gear that came with it.
Anyone ever mounted Tele pickups with this kind of mounting gear before? One of the three orange "spacers" is split for the Broadcaster. I hope I can find another one at the hardware store.
