Adrian Belew (Talking Heads / King Crimson) used to play Mustangs fairly regularly.
John Oates is playing a pre-64 red Duo Sonic in the Hall & Oates Private Eyes video.
And that video is spoofed pretty accurately (except with a post 64 Duo Sonic or Mustang - I can't see the bridge well enough to tell for certain) in commercials for the USA Network show "Psych".
Outside of that, pretty much everyone else famous I can think of offhand has already been mentioned, except for maybe Japanese guitarist / singer Char, who is, as they say, "big in Japan".

btw if you like gories you might like coachwhips with john dwyer who i posted about earlier, my fav song of theirs is 'ufo please take her home' but it's not on youtube, and youtube vids don't do them much justice, and his other band ohsees but that's much more poppy.
