Again sounds like old school mail order. I've never had trouble from them. but I've only used them once

Hmm
You know we are working to try and get A/B tests going. and feel that it's a crucial part of advancement
But we have three problems
1. The quality of reproduction on the Internet is very poor. like trying to promote an led television whilst watching an add on an old tube screen
2. I am a far better engineer than guitar player and would not do justice to the process
3. Everytime I try to get someone interested in working to produce sound clips, although they love the
improvement something goes west and it fails to happen..
We have however taken a significant decision and put our name down for a stand at the London Music Show in october and will have
Our testbed guitars available for anyone to try and compare. Hopefully we will make some connections and move the project forward.
Best Regards

1. It's true, it can clearly be done.
2. Guitar playing skills are incredibly unimportant. In fact I would want ZERO shred skills or elaborate playing and instead just some simple chording and arpeggiated stuff.
3. You can do it yourself very easily at a low cost. Every computer these days is £50 of Audio Interface and a £60+ Microphone away from being a DAW.

Yeah the changes will be most evident in open root chords and picked notes together

I once rang them and the guy that runs the business (Derek I think his name is) was pretty grumpy, however their service was good and i've never had a problem with their products.

Sorry mate, but that's nonsense; the internet isn't AM radio, y'know. The sort of people who are going to be interested in such a product will have a decent set of speakers or headphones to listen to your samples, and using either raw uncompressed audio or high quality mp3 (that 99% of listeners couldn't tell the difference between anyway), it'll be a very decent reproduction.
It's more about capturing the true sound using a combination of decent mics to emulate the "what you hear in the room" kind of sound.
If you feel either of those two factors are really going to discredit your product, you're in the wrong business, as these pickups are gonna be heard through amps being miked in the studio and in a live situation, with no doubt some digital conversion in the signal path.

Nah man, just trying to offer some sagely advice, no aggression intended!

ya know
I am definately up for scrutiny, and actually advice is always appreciated
The keen interest and open mindedness shown in this thread is refreshing.
All to often I have come across complacency and conservative views

Good man, we're only being constructive. I want to believe it has an effect.
I have a Master's degree in Electronics Engineering so I can appreciate the basic Physics concept at work here, but nothing beats hearing the effects yourself. Looking forwards to hearing some clips.

Hi Folks
Please check your PM's
I have sent all contributors a link to an MP3 file
Although in the pm I said that I did not want the file generally available (I personally do not feel it is sufficiently professional),
please feel free to discuss your opinions in the forum.
When playing guitar there are many variables not least in picking action you may notice a difference in volume this is purely
cryogenics at work as I tried to keep the weight of picking even between guitars.
I would also like to thank you for nudgeing me into producing something and moving another step closer to getting cryogenic pickups heard
