but.. but... that stop tail gives me the boak.
Bah.
looks great. simple rock guitar. If I wasn't so enchanted by the thought of a JM neck pickup/ humbucker combo I'd be all over this.
Hell, I may still be all over this.

So Fender is finally making a Jagmaster with a floating bridge. pretty cool. That said I wonder if the Squier will disappear ? I can see myself buying one of these if they're priced slightly lower than a Jag . Strap a Bigsby on that bitch and jam the shit out of it.

Nice thing about that image is that it includes the specs!!
If you read, it's an Adjusto-matic; which is fixed.

What's missing is teh Kurtz switch? That would add a lot to this! Adds some chrome and lets you add the strangle switch or other switching option. I always like the traditional 3 switch plate, but that switch would look hot!

I think it's more Fender USA/Mexico is trying to get in on Fender Japan's action. They've been selling a lot of HH Jags.

hmmm... don't know why they call it a jaguar. But it might be a fine guitar, not my kind thought

they call it a jaguar for the three integral reasons: it's a 24" fender offset with a jaguar body shape.
this is a different version of that same guitar, so it has humbuckers, a 3 way switch, and a hardtail. i'm not really so sure what's so hard to grasp.

Is there anyway without looking at the new Jaguar in person whether the 24" scale is real or the result of a conversion neck?

I think it's cool they're doing new things, definitely.
But they got rid of pretty much everything that makes a Jaguar cool.

Mages wrote:yeah, like the jazzmaster better. I like what they've done with that tailpiece though; actually spacing it out to fill out the space on the jaguar body. they rarely do that for some reason.
I don't know why they've done that. Surely it'll only cost the guitar in sustain because there's less of a break angle over the bridge.
