I'd say he was offered £300 to end it or something along those lines.

If that is the case it's a bit of a silly move on his part. By his own admission it was offered on ebay to test the market and help him decided if he should build more. Unless he received a load of offers and took a generous one, in which case he can build more confident they'll sell, it's defeated it's purpose for the sake of a quick extra £100 or so that the auction could have easily reached anyway.

I agree. Its a bizarre auction altogether. If he had'nt been so ignorant i was considering asking for a quote for a body myself, but now i have no confidence in his communication skills or his business ethics.

Its shame it ended like it did as it was really quite an interesting guitar.
