I'd also risk SERIOUS burns for the Mig.

Luckily my guitar room is right next to the front door so I could make a couple of trips.

Seeing as I would have to buy another guitar if my Burns Cobra was caught in the fire, I guess I'll save the Burns.

Was my 20th birthday present and my main gigging guitar for the following 8 or 9 years. Massive sentimental value.
All of the others (apart from the '62 Duo, but that's a righty) I could replace with more ease as well.
Lets not forget the Noho pickguard either.

Ah that's pretty. I didn't know you had one of these. I'd probably save my AV Jazzmaster too, or possibly the red viking as that'd be harder to replace.

All the others could burn so long as I made it out with the Mustang.

Absolutely my 69 Maverick because it's my favorite guitar ever and would be extremely difficult to replace.

i'd be really interested to hear how that sounds richard, if you ever fancy doing a wee recording.

This guy. It's killing me that it is currently in need of repair, I'm even holding off demoing songs for a new band because it doesn't feel right doing so on my dreadnought size acoustic.

Cheers Fran - is part luck and part judgement that it's in such good condition! I do look after it, but I am suprised it didn't get more knocks the number of gigs it has done.
And yeah, is an SH-5 in the pic - one you now own in fact! Has got a BKP Miracle Man in there at the moment for a bit of extra tightness/brightness in bringing the brutalz

I really have a hard time thinking of anything that I would save. Fact of the matter is, the only guitar I would save is my Yamaha Pacifica 112 (named Beech). Not because its the best, or sounds the best but I learnt on it and if I was going to show off or have a guitar-off with anyone I would do it with that guitar. Its completely stock and has my name scratched into the neckplate.




I've had a few nice guitars along the way, a Firebird IV, thin skin Strat etc.. Nothing really comes close. Every other guitar that I have played or owned is less an extension of ones self and more a tool to make music with.

Rhys just made me cry with joy.

But that could just be because I've only had it for a couple of weeks.

I would save my mascis jazzmaster (fun fact: looking bad ass is damn near impossible when carrying anything purple out of a burning building)
