I wonder how many guitarists realise they need a buffer. It'd be easy to make one always-on, in a tiny box, no battery. With a quality op-amp rather than a single transistor. Priced £20-30. I'ma do this I think. Does Mike already do a buffer?

Sounds like a plan. You might find you're quite popular especially as others seem to be charging way over the odds for the same thing.
I moved my whole pedal board around yesterday and put the Korg tuner first and I think it made a difference but i'm not totally sure, after i've given it a go at band practice at much higher volume i'll have a better idea.
