Out of your list, I've played the 2 Behringers, and the Vintage Time Machine is a great bargain, its pretty close to a EH DMM, but the modulated sounds are alot faster in speed than the EH.
the VD400 is a copy of the Boss DM-2 and its sounds pretty damn close(I had one a while back and did a side by side comparison).

Thanks.

Since I posted a few years ago, I bought the behringer vd400, and have just acquired a Tonerider analog delay.

For an analog-esque delay, I think the Visual Sound 'axle grease' hybrid delay is a very good affordable choice. Its price in UK has come down. And the Ibanez DE-7 still seems to have a keen following and goes for a fair amount on ebay second hand; not cheap, but still affordable.

A suppose the newish Mooer Ana Delay is now the benchmarch affordable analog delay.

Ha, I wasn't even noticing the dates that the original posting was made, Othomas was threadressurrecting.
How do you like the Tonerider?

Yes, I think Othamas was mischief making.

I haven't been able to try the Tonerider yet; I don't access to any of my guitar gear currently due to a house move. I can only find very little online about Tonerider's line of pedals. They seem to be discontinued. The external build quality of my pedal seems extremely good though.

I have the MXR carbon copy. Not all that cheap, but it is a great analog delay. The best one I've ever used though is definitely not cheap and is the Maxon AD-999.

I had a Maxon AD999, it was awesome but once I got my Boss DD7 I decided I didn't need such a pricey delay pedal as the analog feature on the DD7 is pretty decent.
