I own a standard LP Junior and I would like to replace the wraparound with a stop/TOM combo. Similar to the Lennon/Marley mods. Can anyone explain how this is done?

Bob Marley(or his guitar tech) removed the wraptail,put wooden dowels in the holes, then drilled new ones for an and abr-1 and tail piece
Apparently,according to a guy on Les Paul Forum,there were 2: One is a 1957 Special and the other was made around 1972.
