I like the ingenuity and the merging of the old mustang bridge with the new TOM mounting.

+1 Looks much better than the TOM

It'd be more stable than a normal mustang bridge wouldn't it?

Are you asking if the AOM bridge is more stable than the Mustang bridge on a hardtail? Or if the Mustang bridge is more stable in a hardtail configuration than its usual vibrato system...
am confuse

Yh I could have worded it better. I meant the mustang bridge on the AOM bridge posts being more stable than a normal mustang bridge.

Technically, yes. The mustang [and jm/jag bridge] can wiggle back in forth in the thimbles when the trem is in use. This is Leo's genious improvement on the stratocaster bridge because the saddles move in unison with the strings during vibrato use thus making for more accurate intonation while using the trem. Since most people tend to lock the trem or not use it anyways, the mustangjm bridge doesn't tend to move much under the tension of the strings while resting in the thimbles.

Cool mod on the bridge yea thats the one u got from me.
I have never tried to relic a poly body so not sure about the checking
if you goto Fry's or an electronics store and pick up a bottle of circuit board etching solution it does wonders on nicket parts , just a dab on a q-tip and then rinse a little goes a long way and works great for pickguard screws etc.
