the Vintage Modified is more of the experimental line. CV is like the line of classic guitars. Jagmaster is not a classic guitar so it wouldn't really make sense to have CV version.

But are vintage modified made as nice as the CV? or even on the same line?

CV are literally so hawt I can't control myself. They are higher quality than I want from a guitar. ( I like beaters)

From my limited experience with the vintage modified . . . they're great guitars but are lacking a few things that would make them on par with classic vibe. For me, it is the neck finish. Especially on their maple jazz bass with blocks and binding. If that thing had a poly finish like they did in the 70s, I would be all over it. The pickups didn't seem as good to me but I don't have a great ear for that kind of thing.

I tried out a VM Thinline Tele a couple of times and didn't like it as much as the CV Thinline. It didn't seem much lighter than several other Teles I checked out and I'm guessing it's not really semi-hollow like the CV Thinline (much lighter than the VM). I liked the choice of shoreline gold or black + white for it, though.
